Here's what some of our clients have had to say about Hageman Builders.
“Beginning in 2002 we first contacted Hageman Builders to construct a new home for us in The Dalles, Oregon, in an area located within the boundaries of the Columbia Gorge Scenic Area. It was no easy task meeting the specifications required for each home in that area but Ron Hageman and his crew at Hageman Builders not only met that challenge but did so within budget and within strict guidelines and timeframes. We could not have asked for a better constructed home for a price that was well within the range of the original contract terms.”

“Hageman Builders, LLC was our choice of contractor because of his good reputation for work ethic and quality of construction. I have known Ron Hageman for over twenty years, and know well of [his] ability to build. As contractor of our fifteen unit townhouse, a $2,000,000 project in The Dalles, Oregon, I was impressed with his good workmanship, ability to handle his crew, attention to detail and timeliness of the project. I would highly recommend him for future building contracts.”

“We have completed two multi-family affordable housing projects with [Hageman Builders] and can recommend them without reservation. their experience and relationships with local suppliers, subcontractors and other trades is a real asset for project schedules and budgets. We have found their cost estimate work to be accurate and realistic.
Hageman Builders is dedicated and diligent in their efforts to bring projects in on budget. their work ethic is noteworthy, they are thorough and accurate and maintain a true “Team Spirit” from beginning design through construction completion.

“Columbia Cascade Housing worked with Hageman Construction on 3 separate projects since the early 1990s. Ron Hageman was the Building Supervisor, coordinating all aspects of the project construction on all 3 projects:
Rose Garden Apartments, The Dalles, Oregon - 6 Multi-Family units
East Hill Village, The Dalles, Oregon - 4 duplexes,
West Park Orchards, The Dalles, Oregon 22 units of Senior Housing with a community room on a difficult site in The Dalles, Oregon.
All of these projects were completed in a professional manner. Ron had excellent communication with his team and with the architect. He met or exceeded all construction standards and had little to do on the punch list generated in the last walk-through. The projects were completed within budget with no significant change orders and within the project schedule time frame.”

“I would rate Hageman Construction as superior in every area:
(1) Estimates/Pricing - Hageman gives careful attention to the initial estimate. It has been our experience that the estimate provided is reasonable--no increases were necessary as a result of failure to assess the labor and materials needed for the project. In fact, Hageman found ways for us to save money.
(2) Quality of Work - Excellent. …everything from sheetrock to finish carpentry is near perfect prior to final review by the owner/architect.
(3) Coordination and Communication - The Hagemans are very easy to work with. They have a positive attitude and are proven problem solvers. If there was a problem with the plans or in any area they offered suggestions for solutions. When we initiated changes [they] kept everyone informed. All subs were paid promptly and we had no problems getting lien waivers from all involved prior to closing.
(4) Time - In both projects time was critical. Aaron Hageman is to be commended for keeping on top of all the work of his subs and making sure everything was done the right way and on time. Both projects were completed on or before the scheduled completion date.
(5) FollowUp - In the rare instance where we had a problem following completion of the project (for instance a water heater sprung a leak), Hageman got right on it. In fact he personally came out in the middle of the night to correct the problem.
I highly recommend Hageman Construction without reservation for any project, be it large or small. The Hagemans are responsible, ethical, and somehow manage to consistently get the job done the right way, on time and within the budget.”
